When to go
There are four seasons in Pakistan: winter (December-February) is cool and dry; spring (March-May) is hot and dry; summer (June-September) is hot and rainy; and the ‘retreating monsoon’ autumn period (October-November) is cool and wet. The beginning and duration of these seasons varies throughout the country, so it’s worth researching in more detail before you travel.
Pakistan’s peak travel season occurs during the summer months. Be sure to book in advance to find economy seats for this time. May to October tends to be the best time to visit as the weather is comfortable and temperate. The summer holidays are full of cultural events around the country.
